It is a Peer Reviewed international journal (biannual), which has been issued since 1965 under the care of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The journal publishes significant research and results of interest to a wide audience of plant scientists in all areas of plant biology and agriculture, horticulture, forestry, focused especially on the development of new methods of investigation and research, genetic resources and diversity, genetics and plant breeding.
